Many insurance policies provide basic hospice benefits such as nursing, social worker and home hospice aide care. Rice Hospice care is provided regardless of ability to pay. Monetary gifts to Rice Hospice make care possible for patients without insurance. They also help bridge the gap between the actual cost of patient care and insurance reimbursement allowances. Philanthropic gifts also cover the expenses for special programs such as Sentimental Journey, grief support for children and adults, and Canine Care for the Journey. |

A memorial gift to Rice Hospice honors the memory of someone who touched your life in a special way. Often, families ask for memorials to hospice in funeral notices as a way of honoring loved ones. Many people also make annual memorial contributions to remember the birthday or anniversary of a loved one. At your request, your gift will be acknowledged with a letter that will be sent to family members. |
You can help support Rice Hospice programs and patient care at the same time you express your appreciation or love and respect for a living family member, friend, co-worker, or other special person. Such a contribution is a thoughtful way to remember someone's birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. At your request, the person honored by your contribution will receive a letter acknowledging your gift to Rice Hospice. |
