The 2009 annual Share the Spirit Retreat drew 321 participants, including Hospice staff and volunteers. It was held on September 2, 2009, at the Holiday Inn and Conference Center in Willmar.
Guest speakers were Tracy Flynn Bowe, Kate Flynn and Meg Flynn (pictured below) of Three Sisters Inspired!, the authors of The Land Beyond Forever. It was a day of teaching, storytelling, reflection and music to renew the spirit and inspire work.
Katie Bonde (pictured right) made and donated a quilt which was raffled at the event to raise $433 for pet therapy at Rice Hospice.
