We love health and wellness fairs! They give us the opportunity to reach out to others with complementary therapies such as hand massage and music, and let people know about the wonderful services available to help Rice Hospice patients and families.
We had great fun visiting with staff and visitors to Rice Hospital at the Rice Employee Wellness Fair on April 29, 2010. There were complimentary hand massages courtesy of Volunteers Katie Bonde and Bunny Iverson. Music Therapy Coordinator Donna Jo Koptizke and Canine Volunteer Leader Mary Seifert provided music and demonstrations on the Reverie Harp. Glennis Peterson and Monet stopped by to visit with people about the therapy dog program, as did Linda Just and Sugar.
